Tooth preparation Procera® Crown
 
·Preparation of Anterior Teeth

Prepare the tooth with a depth of 0.8 mm - 1.5 mm tooth reduction
The preparation is characterized by thinned margins
Use a chamfer bur to achieve a 5° to 15° taper duringaxial wall reduction
    
  
·Preparation of Posterior Teeth
Same as for anterior teeth
Provide sufficient (1.5 mm to 2 mm) occlusal reduction
Avoid creating a deep fossa/cavity
 
·Preparation of Anterior Teeth
Prepare the tooth with a depth of 0.8 mm to 1.5 mm tooth reduction
The preparation is characterized by thinned margins
Prepare the teeth to allow a bridge with a connector height of at least 3 mm
Use a chamfer bur to achieve a 5° to 15° taper duringaxial wall reduction
Ensure all edentulous spaces are less than 11 mm
 
·Preparation of Posterior Teeth
Same as for anterior teeth
Avoid creating a deep fossa/cavity
Provide sufficient (1.5 mm to 2 mm) occlusal reduction
