Tooth preparation Procera® Crown
·Preparation of Anterior Teeth
–Prepare the tooth with a depth of 0.8 mm - 1.5 mm tooth reduction
–The preparation is characterized by thinned margins
–Use a chamfer bur to achieve a 5° to 15° taper duringaxial wall reduction
·Preparation of Posterior Teeth
–Same as for anterior teeth
–Provide sufficient (1.5 mm to 2 mm) occlusal reduction
–Avoid creating a deep fossa/cavity
·Preparation of Anterior Teeth
–Prepare the tooth with a depth of 0.8 mm to 1.5 mm tooth reduction
–The preparation is characterized by thinned margins
–Prepare the teeth to allow a bridge with a connector height of at least 3 mm
–Use a chamfer bur to achieve a 5° to 15° taper duringaxial wall reduction
–Ensure all edentulous spaces are less than 11 mm
·Preparation of Posterior Teeth
–Same as for anterior teeth
–Avoid creating a deep fossa/cavity
–Provide sufficient (1.5 mm to 2 mm) occlusal reduction
