Lasting beauty
In the past, crowns and bridges were traditionally made of porcelain fused to metal (PFM). Now thanks to the development of modern all-ceramics, which are incredibly strong and natural looking, there really is no need to use PFM. And in the world of all-ceramics no-one can match the esthetics, quality and proven track-record of Procera® from Nobel Biocare.

no PFM 'gray lines' ever
With PFM, soft tissue around the tooth can recede, over time, revealing the metal underneath as ugly gray lines. This simply can’t happen with Procera® because they are metal-free.

bio-compatible
Procera® all-ceramic solutions are completely tissue-friendly. The crown, bridge or veneer (laminate) integrates beautifully with its surroundings, encouraging gum to grow back up to the tooth, as it would naturally. And because they are bio-compatible, there are no allergic reactions, no sensitivity to temperature and no impact on taste.

perfect fit
Procera® solutions are precision-engineered in state of the art production facilities. And they fit so well you will forget they are there.

perfect match
Procera® uses a unique system to subtly match your real tooth’s color and translucency so they’re almost impossible to tell apart from real teeth.

In some cases, over time, PFM solutions can suffer from gray lines.

Imperius Dental Lab is now producing all ceramic crowns utilizing the Procera system and the Nobel Rondo porcelain.

Our porcelain department utilizes the Nobel Rondo porcelain for fabrication of our Procera restorations.  Nobelrondo ceramics special process also contributes to achieving natural opalescence, even after multiple firings. The very fine particles distributed homogeneously throughout the structure of the ceramic, create an unusually beautiful, soft opal effect.  Above all the recent development of "Mother - of - Pearl " modifier makes very natural opalescent contrasts posssible.

Zirconia a Fascinating Biomaterial

Zirconia is one of the latest materials introduced to restorative dental technology.  Given the features and characteristics of this biomaterial, Zirconia has a substantial advantage compared to other dental materials: Mechanical resistance, biocompatability and a fracture strength two times greater than Alumina.

CREATIV-COLOR-SYSTEM

The CREATIV-COLOR-SYSTEM is a logical concept. It offers new ceramic material and new was to determine, match and reproduce natural colors in ceramic restoration. The demands for aesthetics in dental restoration are growing steadily. Common color indicators no longer constitute a sufficient basis for dental restoration.

There is a call to change. A change which has to effect all fields, from color determination to layering techniques. The CREATIV-COLOR-SYSTEM uses a systematic concept for color reproduction.

The CREATIV-COLOR-WHEEL

A decisive means to determine individual characteristics of teeth is the CREATIV-COLOR-WHEEL. With this aid, the dental technician is for the first time able to determine all shade characteristics of natural teeth to express them in a simple concept.

Small samples of the CREATIV-COLOR-SYSTEM shades, which are available as powders (no mixing), have been arranged in four different categories on a turn table wheel. The categories range from mamelon, incisal, secondary dentine and root-dentine. Every category offers all possible shades. This way, the dentist can supply the dental technician with a large number of additional information, which enables the dental technician to chose the precise shades.

The CREATIV-COLOR-FORM-SHEET

The CREATIV-COLOR-FORM-SHEET has been developed to simplify and improve the communication process between the dentist and the dental technician. The dentist can easily express the information he obtained by working with the CREATIV-COLOR-WHEEL, as well as other special characteristics of the patient's teeth and the patient's own ideas about shape and basic color, by simply marking the particular pictures shown on the Form SHEET. Even special characteristics such as dentine/enamel layering or information about the surface of the teeth can be expressed on the FORM-SHEET.
The CREATIV-COLOR-FORM-SHEET is a simple, clear and precise means to pass on information from the dentist to the dental technician. By developing the the CREATIV-COLOR-FORM-SHEET , DUCERA has eliminated the most widespread source for dental restoration; the lack of simple, clear and precise information.

The powders of the CREATIV-COLOR-SYSTEM

The shades of the CREATIV-COLOR-SYSTEM have been developed according to a comprehensive study of a large number of natural teeth. The main goal was to develop powders which reproduce the exact translucence and opacity of the different shades. The special powders of the CREATIV-COLOR-SYSTEM are compatible with all other DUCERAM powders, such as dentine, transparent and enamel powders. Furthermore, the most important colors are available as stains. Thus, Imperius Dental Lab can reproduce a large number of common characteristics.

The four categories of powders consist of the following shades:

1. Mamelons
2. Incisals
3. Secondary-dentine
4. Root-dentine
